The curriculum is divided into two segments. These are called Year A and Year B. A student who enters college in Year A will do courses provided for that year. She or he will complete Year B the next year. The similar thing applies to one who enters in Year B.
There is a new intake every year in January. Whether a student starts in Year A or B they will cover basically the same subjects and material. Minor variations occur in the programme, as the faculty will not always remain the same.
Holidays, weekends and other programmes
At the end of the second term students are sent on three weeks practical outreach into various communities, which provides opportunities for putting into practice much of what has been learned at College.
Students will spend weekends in College, except free weekends as indicated on the event calendar for each term. Students should attend local churches on Sunday.
One weekend each month students will participate in Sunday or weekend ministry in surrounding churches. Such weekends are part of the curriculum.
Students are given three compulsory holidays during the year. The students’ kitchen closes during these breaks. Those choosing to stay at the campus during holidays must secure permission. The college also observes Zambian public holidays.
During holidays, students are encouraged to be actively involved where they are.
